Olivia Cottrill – President

Olivia is serving in her fourth year as President of the Albert Park Community Association and is a community-minded leader, designer, and entrepreneur. She is committed to strengthening neighbourhood connections and creating a safer, more vibrant community for future generations. As a woman of European/Lakota descent and a member of the Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation, Olivia brings her passion for Indigenous inclusion, collaboration, and creative problem-solving to every initiative, and she is dedicated to ensuring Albert Park continues to grow as a welcoming and thriving place for all families.

Megan Cottenie – Secretary

Megan has called Albert Park home since 2022, when she and her family were thrilled to find the perfect house in the neighbourhood. Wanting to get more involved and give back to the place she loves, she joined the Albert Park Community Association in March 2025. Motivated by a desire to volunteer and help strengthen community connections, Megan brings warmth, dedication, and a genuine passion for making Albert Park an even better place to live. She is excited to support local initiatives, build relationships, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the neighbourhood.

William Wells – SZRB Representative & City of Regina Liaison

William has been involved over the years and is currently involved with a variety of community organizations. He has experience working for a variety of provincial government departments as well as NGOs in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and was a member of Regina City Council for 6 terms.  He is committed to strengthening communities and creating a more vibrant and engaged community for future generations.  He is currently also a member of the University of Regina Senate for District 11 (Regina).

Vasudha Raje – Programming Coordinator

Vasudha has been a Board Member with the Albert Park Community Association since 2022, serving as Program Coordinator. She brings more than 10 years of experience in customer relations, along with a strong background in gathering information, organizing details, and working directly with programmers to support our community initiatives. She is passionate about building a stronger, more inclusive neighbourhood through collaboration, innovation, and meaningful engagement. As a board member, her goal is to support APCA’s mission through thoughtful leadership and a commitment to community growth.

Donna Leischner – Badminton Coordinator

Donna has been with the APCA Board for approximately 12 years. She started the Badminton for Adults Program, held Tuesday and Thursday evenings for two hours each night, and she has been running this program for 20 years. Badminton has proven popular, and since January 2025, an additional Monday evening session has been implemented. Donna is also in charge of giving out membership cards for program instructors and for people who can’t register online. She has been doing this for 10 years and keeps a record of the number of memberships issued each year. Donna is married with three adult children and enjoys playing badminton, pickleball, tennis, and cross-country skiing. She likes to participate and volunteer, spending about one-third of her time in the gym at the SLC, one-third at Parliament Community Church volunteering and attending, and one-third at home.

Elaine Vossen – Senior Fitness Coordinator

As a volunteer fitness coordinator for 37 years, Elaine has cherished every moment of serving a community she has called home since 1970. Her mission has always been to make fitness accessible and its benefits attainable for everyone. Through her volunteer work, she has built lasting friendships and strengthened community connections, enriching both her life and the lives of those around her. Witnessing the positive impact of fitness on individuals fuels her ongoing commitment to community health and wellness, underscoring the vital role of involvement and connection.
