Refund Policy for Program Registration

  • Registration is on a first come first registered basis.
  • If a program does not have sufficient participants, it will be cancelled and refunds will be provided.
  • Refunds requested prior to start of the first class will be subject to a $15 administration fee.
  • Refunds requested up until noon the day following the second class will be subject to a 50% reduction and then no further refunds will be given.
  • Refunds due to medical reasons will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • NOTE: Certain classes will not qualify for refunds for any reason and will indicate so in the class description.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS FALL PROGRAMS

LEARN TO SKATE IS CANCELLED! FREE PUBLIC SKATING IS CANCELLED!

  • Badminton, Pickleball and Floor Hockey must be cancelled as of Friday
  • For fitness classes – max of 8 participants (not including the instructor), 3 meters distancing and masking during the class – if you have more than 8 we will have to split the class and alternate the participants

    Nov 25 News Release:

    Sports, Fitness and Dance

    • All team/group sports, activities, games, competitions, recitals, practices, etc. are suspended, including amateur and recreational leagues for all age groups. Examples include hockey, curling, racquet sports, cheerleading, dance practices in group setting, etc.  
    • Athletes and dancers 18 years of age and under may continue practicing, conditioning and skills training in groups of eight or fewer, abiding by the required mask use and at least three metres of physical distancing between participants at all times.  
    • Individual groups of eight may not share a training/rehearsal surface or space at the same time.
    • Coaches /trainers are not included in the training group numbers as long as they are masked and maintain a minimum physical distance of three metres.

 


 



 

FREE PUBLIC SKATING CANCELLED FOR 2020-2021

Volunteer Soccer Coordinator Needed

Volunteer Needed: Coordinator

Exciting opportunity for a Coordinator to manage the overall administration and lead a team of volunteers on the execution of the soccer league.

The South Regina Community Soccer league is a collaboration of outdoor soccer programs of five South Regina community associations, which includes:
– Albert Park;
– Hillsdale;
– Lakeview;
– Whitemore Park; and,
– Harbour Landing.

The mission of South Regina Community Soccer is to provide a cost-effective, fun-filled, recreational and no-cut soccer program primarily targeted at the youth of the five South Regina community associations but also includes other children from Regina and surrounding areas.

It will be posted soon to explain the programs that are being planned.
Registration will be ONLINE ONLY this year.  Programs will open on December 14, 2020 to January 3, 2021.

The Albert Park Community Association (APCA) serves the area of Regina south of 25th Avenue and west of Albert Street.

APCA offers a wide variety of programs for children, youth, adults and seniors including AM and PM fitness classes, art, soccer, dance, technical power skate, sport ball, s and much more.  APCA is proud to bring free activities to the community, including family movie nights, family skate, and the Summer Bash.

APCA’s AGM will be held in November each year at 7:00 pm in the South Leisure Centre (SLC) boardroom as publicized annually.  Join us for an APCA monthly meeting,  on the 3rd Monday of the month, 7:00 pm at the South Leisure Centre. We are always looking for volunteers, new program ideas and coordinators, so please let us know if you are interested in helping out.

The Albert Park Community Association was established in 1964, and incorporated as a Not For Profit Organization in 1971.
