Grades 8 & 12 Graduates
The Albert Park Community Association is offering the 2018 Volunteer Recognition Awards to graduating students. This is our 30th year spotlighting community youth in Grade 8 and Grade 12 with well-deserved Volunteer Recognition Awards!
- Students from grades 8 and 12.
- Who live in the Albert Park Community Association area
- South of 25th Avenue and West of Albert Street, including Harbour Landing within city limits.
- Who are members of the Albert Park Community Association.
These awards will showcase the students who volunteer in activities within their school and within the community in which they live.

RE: Grade 8 and Grade 12 Volunteer Recognition Awards
Please add this Award to your list of Bursaries, Scholarships, etc. for which students may apply.
The Albert Park Community Association is offering the 2017 VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION AWARDS to graduating students from grades 8 and 12 who LIVE in the Albert Park Community Association area (South of 25th Ave and West of Albert Street, including Harbour Landing within city limits) and who are MEMBERS of the Albert Park Community Association. These awards will showcase the students who participate in activities within their school and within the community in which they live.
- Two (2) Awards of $200 each will be available to Grade 8 Graduates
- Three (3) Awards of $600 each will be available to Grade 12 Graduates.
Please note, for Grade 12’s, the requirement for continuing education has been removed.
The awards are to recognize the student’s volunteer support and commitment to our community. An arbitrary committee delegated by APCA executive will choose the winners. Recipient students and schools, which they attend, will be contacted with the results.
The deadline for application is May 18, 2018.
Prior to applying, applicants must live in Albert Park (Including Harbour Landing) and their family must be members of
the Albert Park Community Association to be considered for an award.

To be considered for award:
- Student’s family must reside in Albert Park and hold a current APCA membership.
- An arbitrary committee delegated by APCA executive will choose the winners.
- All decisions are final.
- Deadline is: postmarked by May 18, 2018
